... have a tummy that you just cannot get rid of?

... struggle with low back pain?

... suffer from a weak "core"?

... have chronically slumped posture?

... occasionally leak urine when you sneeze or cough?

... have a weak spot at your belly button that pushes out when you try to do crunches?

... do you have trouble doing everyday activities without pain or fatigue?

Skeptical?
Do you....
We were too.  Kelly Dean, founder of the Tummy Team is a Physical Therapist and a mom of three and had personally tried everything to lose her post baby tummy and regain her core after her babies.  With a huge diastasis and medical recommendations that plastic surgery was the only answer, Kelly started looking for nontraditional solutions.  Kelly used this same Tummy Team approach to heal her own core.  Through The Tummy Team,  Kelly uses her education in neuro muscular re-education, postural correction, bio-mechanics and functional rehabilitation to systematically rebuild the internal core strength and retrain clients to use that foundational strength functionally in all the activities of their life.  It is very effective and not only helps to lose that tummy, but alleviates low back pain, improves postures, regulates intestinal function and improves pelvic floor weakness, effectively prepares moms for labor and delivery and so much more! It is not just about shrinking your waist but about totally transforming your body and how you use it!
Many people suffer from core weakness that effects their posture, strength, confidence and overall health.  There are likely several causes of your symptoms.  Most of us are not aware of which muscles truly need to activate to have a strong core.  You may be completely disconnected from your postural muscles and likely over compensating by using back muscles or hip muscles to support your spine.  In addition, you could very likely suffer from a very common and rarely diagnosed medical condition called Diastasis Recti.  Diastasis Recti is when the connective tissue that connects to two sides of the abdominals becomes stretched and weak.  Incorrect use of your body, poor abdominal exercises, weight gain, continuous forward force and stretching on the abdominal wall can cause this condition.  The Tummy Team specializes in treating Diastasis Recti and other conditions of weak core muscles.
You are not alone.
The Tummy Team has a team of rehabilitation, posture and fitness specialist that focus on rebuilding the internal core muscles systematically to relieve back pain, heal diastasis recti, prepare expecting moms for labor and delivery and flatten your tummy.  We take a unique approach that focuses on effective ways to improve your overall posture, alignment and stability to make you stronger in everything you do.

Whether you are a new mom, an expecting mom, recovering for or preparing for abdominal surgery, or a guy who suffers from a protruding tummy and back pain...The Tummy Team can help you heal and rebuild your core!

How do you know if you actually have Diastasis Recti?
It can be difficult to check yourself but it is possible.  Watch this video to learn how to perform a simple self check.  The diastasis does not need to be severe to be causing serious  problems.   Mild to severe diastasis can all be healed safely and effectively and without surgery with the help of The Tummy Team.

What if we told you...
... that crunches don't work ? And even some Pilates and Yoga poses could be further damaging your abdominal wall?

...changing how you are sitting right now at your computer could drastically improve your core strength?

...surgery is not necessary to get your tummy flat again?

...spending hours at the gym is not actually as important as how you  carry your kids or clean your house to your core strength?
